Located in a charming old town, there are plenty of delicious dining options to choose from, including a local winery, a quaint cafe, and even a Michelin listed restaurant. the service provided by the staff is exceptional and Elena, the owner, is super helpful and kind. the beds are comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep.
One downside is the noisy area surrounding the hotel, which can be a bit annoying at night.

I enjoyed the friendliness of a family run hotel. The staff were attentive to all our needs. Food very good. Hotel is ideally situated to explore the village and surrounding countryside.

The location is perfect as it is close to local amenities such as nature reserves, mountains, and the beach. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The rooms are comfortable and come with a good breakfast.
No significant improvements needed - all was fine.

Staff were very responsive and pleasant - the manageress (owner?) in particular was very keen to meet customer needs. Good to have a cafe onsite as well to provide a cheap option to the restaurant Everywhere was very clean Very close to the centre of Castello d'Empries
Room very functional - small TV and lino-covered floors. The rooms at the front (we were in one) very noisy because of the adjacent road - rooms towrads the back might be better Breakfast quite expensive (9 euros) OK - it's a 2-star and therefore expectations should be adjusted but still a disappointment

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the warm and friendly staff who always greeted us with joy and made sure we had everything we needed. the restaurant's food was out of this world, and even though it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny. the location was convenient as it was close to all the shops and attractions.
The rooms were small, and the air conditioning was not working properly, making it uncomfortable to sleep at night. the street noise was a bit overwhelming, and we couldn't get a good night's sleep.

Breakfast was good. Meal and service in the bar was excelent.
The traffic noise was appalling. The hotel was right on the main road and the traffic continued all night. Our room was by the lift which also made a noise. There was no aircon in the rooms so had to open the windows. The bath was a joke - big enough for a baby. The tv set was small and belonged in a museum not that you could hear it above the traffic noise. All in all a very bad deal and for 81 Euros a very poor return on our money. In my opinion this hotel should be struck off your list. In fact, why not send a rep from Booked.net and check it out for yourselves?

I loved staying at this hotel; the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless, including all of the facilities. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Parking was not an issue, and I had no trouble getting transportation when needed. The breakfast was fantastic and the A-la Carte restaurant was one of the highlights of my stay.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Very little
I wish I had studied previous reviews more carefully. The restaurant might be good but the hotel is poor. Bedrooms have no air-con and the windows don't cut out the noise from the very busy road outside. Guard dogs barking across the road, dated furniture, 1950s yellow bathroom, old-fashioned small tv.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Castello D'Empuries and had a fantastic experience. the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were helpful with local recommendations and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was great, strategically placed close to local amenities and attractions. This made it easy to explore the area and experience the charm of the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The breakfast provided was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.
Everything was satisfactory, no complaints here.

The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to free parking. The family-owned and run hotel had friendly staff and an excellent restaurant with a variety of food options. The location was perfect for those who want to explore the surrounding medieval village.
The rooms lacked air conditioning and could get stuffy. Some of the rooms were small, and the washrooms were relatively tiny.

This hotel is a great find, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The strategic location close to local amenities makes it incredibly convenient. The rooms are comfortable with single beds and the breakfast is delicious.
All was great, nothing to improve.
